Mrs. Olufunlayo Tayo-Ajimoko is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Brook Harbor Care Services, a purpose-driven care organization committed to delivering compassionate, safe, and person-centred support to individuals, families, and communities. Her leadership reflects a rare integration of frontline caregiving expertise, community development practice, spiritual depth, and over 17 years of professional experience spanning healthcare support, administration, finance, non-profits, hospitality, and the banking sector.
An accomplished Personal Support and Community Development professional, Mrs. Tayo-Ajimoko is widely respected for her results-driven approach, exceptional attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to dignity, safety, and quality care. Her calm leadership style, deep empathy, and ability to foster trust with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams form the foundation of Brook Harbor Care Services’ values and service culture.
Formally trained as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) and Community & Developmental Service Worker, Mrs. Tayo-Ajimoko brings both technical competence and emotional intelligence to care delivery. She possesses extensive frontline experience supporting activities of daily living, medication assistance, first aid, behavioural strategies, companionship, and health and safety management. Her care philosophy is rooted in active listening, dignity-preserving practices, individualized care planning, and timely documentation to support early intervention and continuity of care.
In addition, she holds an End-of-Life Doula Certification from Rhodes Wellness College (2026)—a reflection of her special calling to compassionately support individuals and families through grief, loss, and life transitions. This qualification further strengthens her capacity to provide comfort, presence, advocacy, and emotional support during life’s most vulnerable moments, ensuring dignity and peace at end-of-life stages.
Before the creation of Brook Harbor Care Services, Mrs. Tayo-Ajimoko served clients across Ontario in diverse home-care settings, earning recognition for excellence, including a Rising Star Award for outstanding performance as a new employee. Her experience includes working closely with elderly clients and individuals requiring physical, emotional, and cognitive support, consistently prioritizing independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. She maintains strong adherence to occupational health and safety standards, non-violent crisis intervention practices, and person-centred support plans.
Beyond professional caregiving, Mrs. Tayo-Ajimoko is a passionate advocate for community upliftment and social development. She has led vocational empowerment initiatives for widows, single mothers, and young women; championed prison outreach and reintegration programmes; and partnered with youth development organizations—including collaborations with the Duke of Edinburgh Award Organisation—to recognize, reward, and encourage disadvantaged young people. These experiences deeply inform Brook Harbor’s holistic approach to care, addressing not only physical needs but also social, emotional, and cultural wellbeing.
Academically and ministerially, Mrs. Tayo-Ajimoko is highly distinguished. She was awarded a Doctorate Degree by Global Theological Seminary in recognition of her contributions to Global Evangelical Ministry, and has also received a Conferment of Honorary Doctorate Degree from All Nations Theological School, Lagos, Nigeria. In recognition of her exceptional service, leadership, and global impact, she was further honoured with an Extraordinary Ambassadorial Award from Global Theological Seminary Inc., an affiliate of Minnesota Graduate School, USA.
Her academic background includes a BSc in Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration, and an MBA in Marketing. In Canada, she holds professional qualifications as an Ontario Personal Support Worker, Caregiver, and Community & Developmental Social Worker.
